ECU Career Services provides students the tools to explore careers, to help students choose a major and to secure internships, find full-time employment and to apply to graduate/professional school. Career Services provides career readiness resources that include professional résumé writing, interview skill development, networking training, job and internship searches, as well as hosts career fairs, and on-campus employer interviews. Career Services operates on a liaison model and career counselors work with students of each college to customize services and programs to meet the diverse career needs of academic disciplines. In addition, Career Services provides a wide array of online technologies to connect students to career opportunities. Handshake is an exclusive job database for ECU students and alumni that gives access to all on and off campus jobs, internship opportunities, listings of upcoming events including on campus interviews and thousands of employer contacts.
