Placement Information
FOREIGN LANGUAGE PLACEMENT
ECU currently offers Ancient Greek, French, German, Japanese, Latin, Russian, and Spanish. Online placement surveys are available for French, German, Latin, and Spanish. The online placement is required to sign-up for Spanish. A placement survey for the other languages offered at ECU can be conducted on an individual basis as requested or needed. For more information, please visit the Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures website and select: Resources > Placement Surveys. You can also find a breakdown of the scores needed and which levels you are eligible to take here.
